One of the best games that Rare created was Banjo-Kazooie, it sold great in Japan. In fact, it sold so well it was an American release as well.
Rare and Nintendo went through a partnership on games for quite a wile. Nintendo they told the learders of Rare to make a game about one of there mascots, they chose Donkey Kong. This game (Donkey Kong Country) sold so well, it was one of the main reasons that Rare became a succesful video game company. One great game  made by Rare was Conker's Bad Fur Day, saddly it did sell so well because of its M rating.
